About...David Smallwood

David's interest in NLP started in the early 1990's, when he came across it on a negotiation skills course. Now as a Master Practitioner and Certified INLPTA Trainer he provides NLP training to suit people with a wide range of interests. Business, social work, personal development, teaching, health, psychotherapy, sales, or just plain curiosity - David's blend of humour and expertise means his courses have a wide appeal.

 "It never ceases to amaze me when people come back and tell me that what they have learnt actually works", says David. "I say - YES, I know it does, that's why I teach it!" 

More importantly, he gives demonstrations of NLP techniques with volunteers on his courses, to prove the point. As David explains, "people need to understand why NLP works, and they also need to see how it works. NLP is not an academic subject, though there are things you need to know. Its essence is doing things that work."

 David is also one of some 150 people in the UK certified as an NLP Health Practitioner.
