HOW LONG DOES THE COURSE LAST?
The course is a seven day course. The first 3 days can be taken as a Diploma course See Scheduled Courses for Prices and Dates.
Subjects covered over the seven days are as follows;
Take action to acquire new skills
Modelling - if one person can do it, anyone can do it.
An activity that starts participants thinking about excellence and how others have achieved it. The study and elicitation of successful strategies from real life examples both within the organisation and from the outside world.
Influential and meaningful presentations
Metaphors - for multiple-level communication.
An activity that improves the ability to present new ideas influentially by using metaphors with appropriate underlying meanings. Encourages creative thought processes, improves presentation contents and influences others more effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
How other people think
Filters - why everyone is uniquely different.
Helps participants to understand how everyone creates their own personal 'model of the world' based on their internal 'filters'. This activity fosters a greater degree of co-operation, understanding and tolerance, enhances teamwork and improves communication skills.
An innovative approach
Creative thinking - the Walt Disney way.
An activity that encourages individuals to be innovative by providing them with a proven technique to use, even if they do not believe they are naturally creative.
No words needed
Sensory acuity - unlocking the deeper secrets of body language.
To help participants observe and interpret body language in order to gain a better understanding and insight into others' behaviour.
Choose your feelings
Anchors - the triggers to access your inner resources.
This activity teaches participants how to create their own anchors, or triggers, to instantly access inner resources. Anchors enable individuals to be at their best whenever they feel their abilities are being challenged.
How do you see yourself?
Beliefs - changing a belief that is based on a negative past experience.
Enables participants to explore and positively modify any negative self-perceptions, boosting confidence in their own abilities and improving performance.
You can achieve your goals
Beliefs - dealing with 'Yes, but ...'
Show participants how to identify, explore and change negative beliefs. As a result, beneficial changes to behaviour occur, facilitating improvements in personal performance. This is further boosted by the reinforcement of positive beliefs.
Enhanced communication skills
Rapport building - face to face, over the telephone and in writing.
An activity that explores how rapport builds naturally at a deeper, subconscious level and how this can be replicated to improve communication skills, enhance working relationships and gain the co-operation of others.
VHF - tuning in to human wavelengths.
This activity explores the Visual, Hearing and Feeling channels of communication. It gives participants an understanding of their own VHF channel and how they can recognise someone else's channel from their language and eye movements. They can then use this knowledge to enhance rapport.
Plan your route
Outcomes - the fast track to achieving goals
Equips participants with a powerful technique for planning and achieving goals. Outcomes provide flexibility, motivation and are a valuable planning tool. They can also be used for structuring and running successful meetings, negotiations and selling skills.
What matters to you?
Values - discovering what is really important.
People achieve their greatest successes when their objectives and goals are aligned to their values. This activity enables participants to elicit their values, identify any mismatching within their job and put an action plan in place to resolve any such conflicts.
Change your view of the past
Reframing - every picture tells a different story.
Any organisation that replaces a failure with positive feedback will nurture an empowered and motivated workforce. This activity gives participants the ability to 'reframe' an undesirable situation or behaviour with a more attractive and resourceful option - an essential skill for any successful person to possess.
Do I understand you correctly?
Meta Model - word power and how to use it.
An activity that explores why misunderstandings occur between people speaking the same language. The NLP Language Meta Model is an effective tool for clarifying the real meaning of words being spoken, eliminating any possible misunderstandings and saving time, effort and money. It also serves to identify and 'loosen up' any rigid, unhelpful beliefs.
Seeing is believing
Behaviour change - SWISH away the old, SMASH through to the new.
This activity contains two excellent techniques for breaking up unresourceful mindsets and replacing them with something new, compelling and positive. Participants discover how to create a mental picture of the kind of person they would like to be and then make this their new reality.
Realise your potential
The Logical Levels Ladder - for behaviour change at every level of life.
Provides participants with a good tool for loosening up and identifying any areas where personal development has become 'stuck'. The flexibility afforded by this Logical Levels model enables blocks to change to be identified and addressed far more easily than by conventional means.
Core statements - a unique self-motivation tool.
This activity encourages participants to draw on past experiences of success and achievement, encapsulating their essence into a personal motivation statement. The end result is a combination of the thoughts and emotions that drive best behaviour and this serves as a unique and powerful self-motivating force.
Look at it this way
Perceptual positions - a unique way to gain new insights.
Shows participants how to broaden their viewpoints and thereby defuse potentially confrontational situations. It is also a powerful tool for enhancing assertiveness and improving negotiation skills by allowing a 'communication rehearsal' to take place.
Resolve your inner conflict
Parts negotiation - 'part of me wants this, part of me wants that'.
This activity gives a greater insight into behavioural cause and effect. It provides participants with a technique for resolving the kind of mental blocks that result in a feeling of inner conflict and prevent the achievement of peak performance.
Access an extra dimension
Timelines - fast track to the future.
An activity that makes participants aware of the natural time-management system they have within their subconscious mind. Timelines can be used for managing projects, goals and personal time as well as removing anxiety from forthcoming events.
